FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

Why I Like Wikis

/ / Digital Literacy

WIKI's are online databases that will store your information, much like a flashdrive. The thing about my flashdrive is I keep putting it down somewhere and I forget where it is. They also break and can easily get corrupted! My wiki's can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection with my user name and password.

Wiki's via a website such as www.pbworks.com or www.wikispaces.com are fairly user friendly and offer privacy if you want it. But the greatest thing I find about Wiki's is they easily let me share information with whomever I choose.

Wiki's are great for sharing lesson plans with other teachers, they are great for storing photos, and weblinks. With wikis you can sort information into folders, add information, and delete with the click of a mouse.
